About Me
Hi I'm Jef. I have been loving the radio since the age of 13 and wanting to be on it from soon after that! I began DJing at school friends parties (including the annual school disco) when I was 14 and turned professional in 1996 at the age of 34, as a wedding & function DJ in Southampton. I began presenting on radio in 2010 and joined BCR as a presenter in December 2021.

Hobbies
Since retiring from the world of wedding entertainment, my hobbies have mainly been working on the radio station, walking my dogs and renovating our house & garden.

Fun Fact
I can't stand clocks being wrong and have to check that all the ones in the house are accurate! - It's no fun when they change twice each year.

Why you like presenting for Basingstoke Community Radio?
My passion for radio never seems to leave me, so being able to present on such a great local station is a real pleasure for me. It is only right that a town such as Basingstoke should have it's own voice, and I am glad to be a part of it, as a presenter, Programme manager & trustee.
